The original BlackTip (now the BlackTip Travel) was designed to be a low-cost, recreational and travel scooter. To that end, it had to be as lightweight as possible and work with any and all battery packs. Trim was not possible within these design constraints.
Weighing in at just 24lbs and only 24 inches in length, the BlackTip Travel combines the best of Dive Xtras' powerful scooter performance with a lower cost and more travel-friendly design.
If you travel a large amount and weight is critical, then the Travel model is still your best choice. It's Dive Xtra’s smallest and lightest BlackTip model.
